I never cared much for fish. Fried catfish is the exception, though. DH and I went to West Virginia for Easter Break, and I couldn't get enough fried catfish and hushpuppies.

Well, first: I/we love all seafood, fish, shellfish: Except(that from the rivers of VNam and the barrimudi.
Having been in the Seafood/fish business for 20+ years I know my seafood/fish etc.

Now here in NM it is very difficult for us to get "fresh fish/seafood". The other day at the Albertsons in Gallup they had "fresh Halibut" yikes...I could smell it 5 feet away. $39.99/a lb. There are crazy.
Now I know that fresh halibut is expensive...but not expensive...

Oh, Dover sole...don't get me started...Dover in the winter can be shallow water, but in the summer it is a deep water trawl caught....just try cooking some and you will see: it will turn to a jelly/mush in a minute.
I could go on and on..
but enough for now.

HW aka Captain Seafood....

If my husband is well we eat it 1-2 times a week. Nowadays, not at all as Son does not like fish. I love going out for fish.

Prices like that make the frozen or even canned stuff look a lot better.

We eat fish approximately three times a week. Our freezer usually has tilapia, salmon, flounder, and homemade crab cakes, and we almost always eat fish on Fridays. Usually get our fish from Costco. What is interesting is that when we eat out, we also almost always eat some type of fish.

For $40/lb that fish should be ice packed, helicoptered in and delivered directly to your door!

I eat salmon once a week. Canned tuna twice a week. Shrimp about once a week. And whenever I run into a good deal on crab legs, tuna steaks, scallops, etc. I take advantage of it.

When we vacation at the beach, I eat some type of seafood every day.

I used to eat it (and also seafood) every other day before I met my girlfriend. Since she doesn't eat fish/seafood, I've had it alone maybe three times in five years of being together. I liken it to having a affair. The aquatic kind.

Salmon once/week and another once/week--scallops, shrimp, whitefish or crabcakes usually.
