I'm not sure if this one counts, but I make a sauce out of the gizzard of ducks too.

I haven't had much experience cooking with any other organs. I've eaten liver, and I think it tastes good, but I can't eat it in large quantities.. especially after knowing the function of it

Does anyone cook with organs themselves?
I used to years ago, liver, heart and kidney were part of our regular diet, the only ones I use anymore are the griblets from the turkey to make gravy.

About half of my meat consumption is organs. At about a buck a pound, why not? In South America, I have no problem with things like stomach and tripe, but it's way too expensive in the US. The poor Mexicans here are really being ripped off by American butchers.

I eat Offal at least three times a week. Mainly my favorite........beef wiver and then beef hearts....usually eat it by itself........YUMMO.

I also like chicken livers scrambled with eggly-wegglies. Chicken hearts......YAY. I like all the other yukko bits that most people hate....but they are hard to find.

Brains and eggs....yes, tender lamb brains....hard to find though.

OFFAL, IT IS NOT AWFUL........THE REAL SUPERFOOD.

I love gizzards. In contrast, all the livers I have ever tried has tasted bitter, mealy, and generally disgusting, so I guess no on those. I am open to trying them again though, of course. I don't consider tongue offal because it is a giant muscle, but it is good.

I have heard that all brains are extraordinarily high in cholesterol, so if you care for your heart even a little you will forgo those.

My mom makes an awesome chopped liver. She fries the chicken livers til they're cooked, then shoves them through a tabletop manual crank-turn meatgrinder, along with a hard-boiled egg. Then she takes the bowl and adds some finely chopped celery. I don't know if she adds anything else, but it's amazing, especially on those little party rye bread slices.

It is the only time anyone will ever see me eat a boiled egg.

I use the turkey giblets in my stuffing for Thanksgiving. It gives it an earthy flavor. YUM!

I just had chicken heart today, I've had it before in stuffing, but not alone before. I'm willing to try organ meats, you'd have to convince me on brain though!

In my opinion, if you are going to eat meat, you should learn to enjoy/eat the whole animal. Nothing should go to waste.

I love gizzards, chicken livers, honeycomb tripe, chicken hearts, duck liver, pig's ears, pig's feet, pig tails and the list goes on and on....
