what the heck happened. I always stock up and have not bought canned goods for months. Went down the aisle today and looked at the canned veggies. How the heck am I going to keep feeding my family. I have a family of seven with 5 growing boys. This is out of control folks. 3 bucks for a loaf of bread?? 4 bucks for a gallon on milk...........wow, I think we are in trouble here folks. anyone agree???

A 20 by 20 patch or even a 10 by 15 patch, after harvest, will approximately give you a year's supply of corn off of a packet of seeds which can be had for anywhere between 1 to 4 dollars. (just stocked up ...)

to say that you have planted milk and beef but it didn't come up is indeed rude (and silly!)

I don't envy you berries ... we had three children and I didn't work at the time. Friends use to tease me about writing a cookbook with my 365 Days of ground beef recipes and I never ever used Hamburger Helper !

I have noticed the price of groceries going up too. It has to be difficult on you and others that have families to feed. We go to Super Walmart for paper products, cereal, everything but meat and fresh veggies.
