Steak and bacon, I will buy them when they are on sale and then "stock" up but no other time.

Corn.. not that I like it very much but it used to be cheap.. 6 for $1.. now I'm lucky if I can get 2 for $1..

The fresh fruit and vegetables at the Aldi stores in our area aren't very good quality. I seldom shop at Aldi's because I don't buy much canned or processed food. If a store doesn't have quality produce I don't shop there.

I just bought a 3-pound pack of ends and pieces for 4.49. Which is fine, I never just fry strips of bacon, I cut chunks off the frozen end to flavor things cooking. I separated it into three flat one-pound packs for the freezer, and it looked pretty nice and meaty.
