I think the title says it all. The ground beef tastes like it is full of filler now, and I am constantly dousing my food with hot sauce. I can remember as a fan of TB back in the 90s and 80s and always enjoying the food. There were little green onions and black olives on the mexican pizza and the cup of rice used to be Spanish style. Now it is just white rice with parsley thrown in. I also used to enjoy their competitor, Del Taco, a lot int he 80s but they are harder to find now and the nearest one is 100 miles away probably. I was wondering if I am alone in feeling this way. Anyone agree?

Taco Bell's nachos Bell Grande used to have chopped green onions and black olives in addition to the cheese sauce, beans, sour cream and chopped tomatoes. And guacamole. Now they suck, and look bleh.

We still have a Del Taco in our area, but I really miss Naugles. Sometimes the kids ask for Del Taco and I'll get the Bacon Double Del Cheeseburger with a side of nachos. But the kids hardly ever ask or Taco Bell. Their best item is the caramel apple empanadas.

I still have a hard time getting over the fact that all I taste is lettuce whenever I eat a taco at taco bell. I wish there was enough meat to taste a difference. You are so lucky!

Original poster - it's just you. You need to fight with them to have your tacos made correctly. It's a real shame. That's why I rarely go.

I don't go often, maybe two to three times a year, but I went in January to try a Doritos Locos taco that people were raving about. It didn't really taste like anything. I don't even remember the other item I had. I guess that says a lot about the food.

Horse meat and chicken claws just isn't spicy enough? Last time I ate at Taco Bell was 3 a.m. in 1992 and I was drunk!

My thought is that when a restaurant serves you food in trash (wrappers), it's probably trash to your body I'd never feed my kids that garbage!

^^^ Ahh, well then we'll all go by your review that was referring to "3 a.m. in 1992 and I was drunk!"

You have no idea what you are talking about.

It's Taco Bell not a 5 star restaurant. What are you going to do "Errr Cashier, would you mind going back and making my tacos the right way as the meat has no seasoning and could you reduce the lettuce by 1/3 and increase the ground beef by 1/2."

Yeah I'm sure that will go over real well with the teenage kitchen staff.

Yes, similar to that....that is what I do and I get what I request. My Taco Bell experiences are better than yours, based on that. You don't know how to order and stay firm on what you want.
