Last night we went out for Mexican food, but tonight I've promised to make my husband's favorite - Thai cashew chicken.

Default Steak Salad

Top sirloin filets were on sale at Publix, so I made Steak Salad. Mixed greens & tomatoes tossed with my homemade dressing ( mayo, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, garlic salt, freshly ground pepper, parmesan cheese & a little oregano) topped with the medium rare sliced steak. Yum-O!

Tomatoes and mozzarella - the local Farmers Market had some Brandywines this morning, and some baby carrots, too. The local dairy farm is making the mozzarella by hand from the milk of Jersey cows that are nibbling in the pasture.

Fall is in the air, so I am enjoying the natural bounty while I can.

You're making me soooo jealous. The fresh tomatoes & mozzarella sounds delicious! Gotta move back to the Northeast asap, if not just for the food!
