Nice and crisp! BLTs, heavy on the bacon.

I decided not too long ago that bacon is probably my favorite food. I eat it every day for breakfast and NEVER get sick of it. Everything else I can get sick of eventually. It's great 'cause I can get some fat and protein in my breakfast so I don't get as hungry later in the morning. The way it's cooked is VERY important, though. It has to be cooked so that the meaty part is now raw or burnt and the fat is slightly crispy and melts in my mouth when I eat it.

There is nothing better than a proper BLT.

Small amount of bacon makes food so flavorful. Bacon Bits are good too. That's the only way my kids would eat scrambled eggs. Bacon Bits in small portions go along way (like garlic).

Thin Oscar Meyer bacon cooked slow untill crisp is my favorite. Not too hard or chewy, just melts in you mouth and perfect for BLTs !

Same for me. Unfortunately my husband doesn't eat red meat or pork and can't stand the smell of it so I can only cook it when he's not home. So needless to say I don't get to eat it as often as I like. He used to get mad at me when we would go out to lunch and I would always order a BLT. I finally told him look, I can't cook it at home so I am going to order it when I go out.
