My dad made this all the time when I was little and I made it for my kids. Butter and season-all. I would eat it today if I could! I have cut back to one carb a day...

We eat it a lot in the winter, well, not a lot, but we do like cream of wheat; oats are ok as well; yep the honey or brown sugar and I have to admit I like a little butter on the hot cereal as well.

Back to the Tuna Cassarole subject: instead of bread crumbs we always use crushed potato chips.

I haven't made tuna casserole in probably more than 5 years, but I am thinking we didn't put a topping on it. I'm not willing to ask my ex husband how I made it either, lol!

I bet the french fried onions would be good on it though. Strange I should say that, because I hate the greenbean casserole with that on it. Maybe I would like it if my sister in law didn't drown the stuff.... gooey mess.

you know I think I have heard of that before, but yuk as far as I am concerned. I love lettuce, love peanut butter but certainly not at the same time...I bet she uses the air filled plain white bread as well, right?

My parents ate that cornmeal mush stuff, polenta I called it blenda as a kid and hated it with a vengeance. I always ate something normal the nights they dished that stuff out.
