I'm in the minority, I "hardly" ever eat at any of those restaurants.

No you aren't I haven't eaten at the above mentioned fast food places in 2 years. Chik-fil-A, jack in the box are the only two on that list not located on LI although years ago there used to be a jack in the box on sunrise HWY in Lindenhurst. It's pure garbage not filling because there are so many carbs you feel hungry 1 hour later and after the horror stories on these places I have stayed away. Oh and I only go to dunkin donuts for a coffee that's it for some reason their donuts give me indigestion.

I think there are only two on that list that I patronize with anything resembling regularity.

If Jack in the Box was still at Deer Park, L.I., on route 231, I'd eat there every night!

I'm with you: I have eaten at almost everyone of them at one time or another, but we prefer either eating at home or indepindent restaruats. I do like a Burger King once in awile (maybe once a year) and I will go to Arby's with hubby about once a year as well. When we are traveling and I have a sonic coupon we will stop..That is about it. I did get a couple of the cheapy items at Wendy's a few years ago; for the money they were fine.

Chik-fil-A is expensive...like $7 for a combo meal.

For the money I spent at these places, I'd rather just buy something good and make it at home. My weakness, though, is a McDonald's shake...that's about the only thing I buy there. Once every three or four months or so. My favorite "fast food" joints are the privately owned seasonal drive-ins here - we'll go there sometimes for a burger on the way back from swimming, always a cone of soft ice cream. They are really liberal - the large is like the leaning tower of Pisa. They are only open May through September, though.

Sorry no longer there, we have sonic, white castle, nathans, wendy's and BK , paneras and checkers. My husband said where checkers and panera bread are is the location where Jack in the box was. Remember Taco Tuesdays?
