I can't live without nuts for my snacks, almonds or cashews, every day. I may take a handful of chocolate chips for dessert once in a while. My smoothies are yogurt, milk, banana, sometimes strawberries added, and chocolate syrup.

Since I taught the Bf about roll-out pie dough, it's apple pie at his house, as he makes a new one every day or two.

Growing up my parents did not have snack foods so my sister and I got creative. They grew all their food and animals, we could pick anything from the garden or a tree or go lick a cow here are some I remember-
saltine crackers with butter and boysenberry syrup (homemade, tried store bought, not the same)
saltine crackers with cheese and put in the oven. (didn't have a microwave)
roll out pie crust, smother on butter and cinnamon and sugar and throw in oven.
Gratefruit & brown sugar
peaches and half & half - yummmm favorite.

For me a quick snack might be some yogurt.
