A couple months ago I was in NC and I tried Bojangles...I loved it but the problem is that I live in Southern Indiana...anyone know if there's one in KY?

The closest one to you looks to be in either Tennessee or Pennsylvania.

Bojangles opened their first restaurant in Charlotte NC ... that is where their corporate office is located. People that relocate here from the North, West and other parts of the country always want to know why we don't have Popeye's Chicken. But we are Bo Country.

We buy our turkey from them at Thanksgiving, it is delicious.

So is Bojangles basically a Popeyes in the south?

I mean that as in, is that what Bojangles serves?

I don't know ... but the people that move here don't think so ... Bojangles chicken is a cajun style fried chicken, dirty rice, made from scratch biscuits, cajun pintos. Bojangles serves biscuits all day ... gravy, sausage, ham, steak, all with egg or without.

I have never tried Popeye's so I really can't compare the two. I live in a university town and found out recently there is a Popeye's on campus at the Student Center.

I guess Bojangles to our area is just like Krispy Kreme another company founded and based in NC.
