Default What's your favorite night of the week to eat out?

Usually I would say any night where it's "Kids Eat Free" but it seems like Thursday night around here is the most popular night. I live in a college town and most adults try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights at the most popular spots. A college student told me Thursday night is a big night out for students cause they are trying to line up their dates for the weekend but mostly they are in bars and not restaurants.

Having said all that, tonight- Friday- we are going out cause I'm tired of cooking all week. Probably going for Chinese cause I usually don't cook that at home.

Whichever night I don't really feel like cooking so it is not regimented at all.

I always eat out with a group of friends every Friday night. We have done this for years.

I don't think I have a favorite night, but if it isn't football season I guess Sunday night would be my choice. We eat dinner out so rarely, maybe 10 times a year at the most. Of course we do eat lunch out a little more often...

I know a lot of retired folks who enjoy eating lunch out over dinner out. they don't like to drive in the dark, like having the hot meal at lunch and of course cost. Sometime DH and I will have a nice lunch out but I still have to fix something for the kids so it defeats the purpose-if the purpose is to avoid cooking and washing up the kitchen.

I'm off on Tuesdays. I usually treat myself by going out to eat on Monday evening. Unless Valentine's Day falls on a Monday, I never have to worry about crowds.

Probably, Wednesdays. Middle of the week and I kind of need a boost.

Last night (Fridaynight) I happened to be at the mall, killing time waiting on someone to get out of their event and I ate in the food court. Usually I avoid these places like the plague, but it was kind of interesting. Lots of people, festive music atmosphere, most everyone seemed happy and congenial. I was by myself so I just sat back and watched all of the families enjoying their evening.
