Weather was beautiful today.
Grilled a whole chicken and sausage outside while having a nice " cold one"
Potato salad, arroz, pico, guacamole, and flour tortillas.
Shredded the left over grilled
Chickie, shredded some cheese, added some refried beans, threw all this over
Some tortilla chips, put in the oven and had some macho nachos to rival any Mexican place.
French onion soup, beef roast with potatoes and carrots, fresh green beans and yeast rolls. Sweet iced tea to drink and angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert.
We went out after chruch to celebrate hubby's birthday and our granddaughters wedding anniversary. We ate at Crabby's, had a couple of glasses of wine, and a fair sized meal, so dinner isn't going to be off the top. I had a package of pumpkin soup mix I got for Crhistmas a couple years ago, stuck it in my small crock pot, added a litte chicken stock, milk (it called for heavy cream) and water. That will pretty much be what we are having. Probably add some texas toast as well.
