Whats`s on Tonight`s Dinner Menu? (leftovers, paprika, cake)

we have a little bit of the penne and chicken alfredo leftover and I am making fried chicken cutlets and brussel sprouts. Bracing for Hurricane sandy.

Hunkering down for Sandy... cooking up some of the fresh veggies we have in the fridge and having it with a roasted chicken. Hoping the power doesn't go out.

At the moment it's looking like Lentil and Bacon Soup or Cottage Pie. I am coming down with a bad cold and have pretty much lost my voice so something hot, and comforting sounds great right now ! I sound like a Duck playing the Kazoo at the moment... a very sexy sound I can assure you !

I was thinking about couscous with chickpeas but might switch that to with lentils now that Mooseketeer mentioned them.
