Wendy’s is changing its logo for the first time in nearly 30 years in an ongoing effort to re-energize its brand.
The logo, which will be rolled out in March, features a more contemporary cameo of the pig-tailed, freckled Wendy character and a softer script for the company’s name.
The logo, and symbol change means nothing. Wendy's has lost their market by trying to be everything, and compete with McDonalds, rather than focus on a niche market. That is the problem. In and Out a Burger, does a better burger than Wendy's. I used to like the baked potatoes, and really loved the sweet potatoes, which came, and went too fast.

Until a year or so ago I never much ate at Wendy's. I am not a big fan at all. The best part of their menu is their Frosty and half the time even that is not prepared properly. I would not go there at all if it were not so convenient to my business.
As with everything else, the "new logo" is less interesting and not that special. Instead of making things better, they make it cheap and easier and the quality suffers, so I guess the logo is appropriate to their business model. LOL
I really like their fish filet sandwich, but it is only sold during Lent. It is a big seller and one would think that they would carry it all year. I like their Frosty and chili, but I would probably stop more often if they had the fish sandwich on their regular menu.
Speaking of rebranding, My wife and I were in Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) approx 3 months ago.
The particular location we were at had been extensively remodeled and as we were standing in line I said to my wife
"" This Kentucky Fried Chicken location is rather nice isn't it? ""
Before my wife could answer a young kid in front of us turned around and asked what Kentucky Fried Chicken was.
At that very second I truly believe Colonel Sanders rolled over in his grave.
