So you don't eat cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, sheep? I worked on a chicken farm for several years and can tell you what you described is no different from any other meat you buy at your average supermarket.

I read the article. There's no way I'd consider eating it now.

That does sound good. I'd definitely try that.

Consuming anything raw is dangerous. I love sushi but it's always in the back of my mind watching someone die from eating raw oysters. I think sushi is the only thing I'll be eating raw except veggies.

Yes!!!

If other culture eat it... & its a food source, heck why not???
Same as cattle.

P.S. the way I see it...
For those who don't want to eat it it is their "right"
(and also to my & many others advantage; so long these people don't act like "fox with sour grapes" and forbid "others" like me from eating it)...
just MORE FOOD for me & people who is willing to partake in it.

Okay....I'm puzzled here. Why would they whip and torture them? I guess a whip might be necessary to get them to move out of the trailer (which are either tight or not depending on how many animals are in it) but I'd guess they're more likely to use a cattle prod, like they do on other animals. Hanging them up? Are you suggesting this is done while they're alive? I find that hard to believe, hanging a scared struggling large animal by it's hind legs while still alive has got to be dangerous to the humans around it as well.
This is a pretty sensational and out-there post, where did you get THIS information?
That said, no, I wouldn't eat horse meat, raw OR cooked.

I second this response.

Now, if a famine hits this land, well then I'd eat pretty much anything edible (within reason and morality)..
