We recently recived a three plate set that comes on a rack. Like this one:

I mean it does look cool, but how often will I use it? Not often I'm guessing. Plus it takes up a lot of room to store.... maybe we just need to throw more parties or something.

Sometimes when you get weird gifts ya gotta wonder if the giver isn't re-gifting something they didn't want.
My sister and her husband, who are normally REALLY good gift givers, one year had one of those gift basket things sent. It didn't have sausage, but it DID have chocolate, cookies, and crackers. Now, my husband has to be gluten-free, and I have blood sugar issues and don't eat sweets, so....gotta wonder why they thought this was a good idea.
Oh well. One bad gift from them over 30 years isn't bad. At least the mustard was good.

We had a holiday party and about 6-7 people who showed up gave us wine, and I'm pretty sure they know we dont drink wine. I figure just keep tabs on who gave which one and regift!

My brother also gives gift certificates to this place pretty regularly, both my college age kids don't mind having them in the freezer for last minute feasting. They aren't something I personally like that much though, I'm a Round Table kind of gal.

My family loves to give/get food items as gifts. The weirdes one was an enormous bag of dried mushrooms. They were tough and chewey even after soaking and cooking them and they ended up in the trash a few months later.

^^^ lol. Gets the point across.

As for that triple layer plate, looks like a jewelry holder repurposing.
Or seasonal decor.
Or regifting outside the circle.

A "Quesadilla Maker". What a waste of space. Why not just throw the tortilla in a hot pan, top it with cheese, and add another one? Why have an appliance that does nothing but heat tortillas for a quesadilla?

Even the sandwich maker is a better deal, at least that is more versatile.
