I have class on the weeknights between 5 and 9 PM. Needless to say I don't have time to prepare a quality dinner and I don't have time to eat dinner while sitting in class, only time for a snack during a 10 minute break. Granola bars only go so far. What are some of your go-to snacks when you're in a situation where you can't have dinner but need something that will fill you up that you can grab quickly and eat on the go?

Almonds are very filling. Try to get ones that aren't salted, though, or you'll be thirsty... and then have to go to the bathroom.

Yogurt is also filling.

You'll just keep being hungry if you snack on carbs, so the protein in almonds and yogurt serve two purposes: it's filling and healthy.

I second the recommendation of almonds. Both the hubby & I eat them between meals by the handful. Delicious & nutritious!

I used to always eat almonds, then my school became a nut-free zone. Now it's Greek yogurt; the protein is very filling. String cheese, too, if you can keep things cool.
