Ever tried either of these brands?
They look so good on QVC or HSN.

I'm always tempted to buy, but they are expensive.

Cheryl's - I've seen reviews saying they're not THAT good. So I've sort of ruled them out. Beside they're mostly a butter cookie with what seems like way to much frosting on top.

David's baked goods are what I'm really tempted by now. Their crumb cake, brownies, and cookies are a special value plus 8.95 S&H of course. Given that that price is a good deal for that brand I'm weakening, and thought I'd come here and ask about them first.

I really only want to get them if people say they're the best cookie ever. I an get 'good-but-just ok" cookies for less than that....without S&H

I have had Cheryl's cookies. When I worked in an office a client sent us a basket of them. They were too sweet and not that good IMO. Never had David's.

I am amazed at how much money people spend on those types of food.

I've had David's cookies several times, as well as their brownies and rugelach. I think they're just okay. The best part is when you can get one of their pretty cookie jars; the cookies are just a little bonus then. I don't like them enough to buy them in a regular tin, even on sale plus a coupon.

I would bet that they aren't as good as the cookies I bake at home. So I will pass.

Cheryl's don't taste any different than the Lofthouse brand you can get at Target. They are certainly not worth spending a lot of money on them. They are not horrible....they are just not anything special.
