Sorry, not trying to be funny..........it definitely sounds like you are describing a dish with baloney in it. Maybe I do not know about fru-fru foods.....but I know what I read!

Most Americans do tend to seriously oversauce their noodles, but that pic above seems a bit undersauced to me actually - though I appreciate the effort. Here is what I would consider a proper looking bolognese sauce.



And like I said, with mine I tend to simmer and cook it for anywhere from 6 hours and up. It can be done quicker, but it doesn't have time to develop the ideal depth of flavor if you cut it too short.

I also have to say; sauce. I make marinara or meat sauce w/ pork,veal & beef.
When the smell fills the house, it reminds me of walking into my grandma's apartment when I was little...

Also:
Pumpkin bread

Anything w/ garlic!
