I was in the hospital back in Feb for back surgery and after I was taken off the "liquid only" diet, I had great food!! I was lucky, my hospital experience was awesome. I had movies on demand, free internet, a private room, all to myself! The doctor came in just after they had brought me my supper, which was all liquid, and he said...oh no you can have a normal diet now. I told him they had just brought me the supper and he said "so what get yourself some real food!" So I called down to room service and ordered a cheeseburger and fries and had it within 30 minutes. Totally worth it! And then my 19 month old daughter was up in the room with me and the lady said I should have told her, she would have brought something for her! But instead she did have a cup of applesauce to give her which was very much appreciated by my daughter.
