You must be talking about the wafer cone, the one that gets soggy. I dislike those too. The crisp cones are delicious to the last bite. But I prefer my ice cream unadulterated and from a dish.
When I eat my ice cream "unadulterated", it's right out of the carton!
BTW OP, I meant to tell you how much I liked your thread title -- that's one of my Dad's favorite expressions, usually when talking about celebrities: "I wouldn't walk across the street to see them!"
Tofu. I know that they take on the flavor around them, but I just can't do it. It is mainly the texture.
I would say kale and beets, but we roast those at home and season them so they taste better. But if I had to cross the street to eat raw kale and/or beets, no way.
I agree risotto is a lot of work for what amounts to mushy soft rice. I also wouldn't walk across the street from quinoa. If you have to add a ton of stuff to get flavor, for either of these items, why not just make rice?

I do not really care for any sweet food that is sloppy, slimy, liquid or light and fluffy:
ice cream = nope
juice/soda = nope
sweet coffee/tea = nope
milkshakes = nope
light/fluffy pasteries or cookies = nope
pie = nope
I like sweets that are heavy......rich chocolate candy, rich cake, doughnuts!!!!!
I am sorry to say I am not a fan of liver. I should be, as I embrace the notion of squeak to tail eating. But liver is NOT GOOD.
Also, bananas.
So you don't want this nice liver-and-banana compote?
