Vegetarian dim sum place in Los Angeles. Not a vegetarian anymore. Apparently in US there's only 2-3 (NY, HI and SF[?]).

It would be nice to see a higher end Chinese style buffet here too(a la oversea Asian standard).

Oh yeah, more 24 hour places!

It's more about making vegan versions of soul food, if that makes sense.
I follow someone on Instagram who blogs pictures of her vegan creations and they look quite tasty, and she's had success in having Black people try her vegan creations. She hosts a pop-up in her city.
In spite of the image that vegans are nothing but a bunch of white people, there are vegans of color; like me, for example.

Look up Soul Veg, they are a vegan soul food chain.

Ooh, that's easy! Fogo de Chao! I could go to that place 2 times a week and never get sick of it.

Or In n' Out Burger, for that matter. If that were the case, I'd just be another statistic on the annual reports on the obesity epidemic in the US!

Then I would have a daily special. As for sandwiches, I again, would only offer a few kinds, one being a great French dip, one being a vegetarian one, maybe a good egg salad or just a basic cuke and avocado type (maybe 2 veggie ones) and I would serve one hot sandwich and one more cold one. To me, the simpler the menu, the better the quality can be. Oh, and I would not use processed meats. I would start from scratch early every morning.
I want you to move near me and open that restaurant.

Your has good variety; a meat eater can go there but a vegetarian can too. Most places are either-or. You also provide the non processed meats which are the only ones I'll touch. Bacon with nitrates? No thanks.

Or perhaps they have an Indian place, but it's just not good/doesn't haveh the dishes you like. Or maybe there is a popular chain that you love and wish you had in your town.

So what if you had the money and/or resources to open up a restaurant in your area (or a copy of a restaurant) just so that it's there. What would you open? What other restaurant would be your inspiration?
Funnily enough if it were for my tastes alone I would open an Indian restaurant, specifically Singaporean Indian food and it would specialise in Roti Prata/Canai. While we do have a handful of places that sell this dish here, but it is nothing compared to what you get in southeast Asia.

As for a fast food chain I'd really like MOS Burger to open here, love their Teriyaki Chicken burgers.

I can see you chasing chickens, pigs, and cows around the barnyard every morning before you open .

Along the same lines... There's a burger joint in Siler City, North Carolina called Johnson's. He grinds his own fresh beef every morning and sells cheeseburgers until he runs-out - usually around 2:00PM. And when I say fresh - the beef is never frozen because it comes from the Siler City Stockyard where they auction the cows on Mondays.

BTW - Johnson's isn't open on Mondays, I wonder why .

Good BBQ and a family style authentic Italian restaurant, not just a pizza joint.
