Ted Bear: you certainly are not the only one with hatred for Wal-Mart owned businesses, but I think many do not realize how much the family and the corporation gives to charity. I will let it go now, as this is a food forum and not a forum on the business operations of retailers.

It's similar. More retail, as someone else said.

We have had memberships at both Sam's and Costco. We dropped Sam's and kept Costco; the quality of merchandise is better, their employees are definitely happier & treated better, and the stores are cleaner.

Costco as it's closer and generally cheaper, and is much closer to me as well.

I do have a Sams Club Card also, and shopped there over Christmas and found some items that were cheaper head to head at Sams.

BJ's or costco, we do not have Sam's club by me. I go to costco maybe once a year. When I first lived here we were going once a month. Got expensive.

Costco for us because of the Walmart/Sam's business policies and because the merchandise is better than Sam's.
(I don't care how much they give to charity while they pay their employees so little that many employees need food stamps and medicaid~taxpayer funded~to survive)
