Ugh! I think not! Wise were always greasier and burnt. Blech.

I voted Lays -- I go back and forth between the Wavy and Plain varieties.

Utz has great pretzels!

I like the plain Lays Stax (blue plastic tube) and plain Pringles (reduced fat purplish tube, makes me feel less guilty plus they seem to break less than those packed in a bag) and once in a great while, if I can find them, I like the Utz kettle classics (gourmet dark russets or sweet potatoes) - of the 3, I think the Lays Stax are a bit thicker and better for dipping - that said, Ruffles (Ripples) are pretty good too.

I like all brands except for Utz (haven't tried yet). Sour Cream and Onion hits the spot for me, regardless of brand.

Utz are good, but they aren't available here. Lays are perfectly salty, Ruffles are not that great in flavor, but hold up to dips, so they're best for snacks where what you really care about is the flavor of the dip. Pringles aren't chips in the traditional sense, so I don't count them in the same league.

My favorite of all chips are kettle-cooked ones. Particularly Cape Cod, and Krunchers, which used to be owned by the Chicago classic Jays, but I believe got bought out by Snyder's of Hanover when Jays folded.

You can often find Utz Potato Chips at off-price places like Big Lots and Dollar Tree. The selection is generally very limited.

I'll put another vote in for Walkers, although owned by Lays they have a much better selection of flavours.

When Lays got to be over $4 per bag I quit buying chips then I noticed Utz Potato stix at Wal Mart buy them every time I need something salty. Cheaper than chips it is the only Utz product in my parts and only find it at Wal Mart.

Husman's. Unless they're barbecue chips, then I want Grippo's.
