Grilled salmon, asparagus, rice pilaf. And a nice Chardonnay.

Wife decided on smorgasbord. Fancy name for leftovers. Fridge clean out time. That's better than cleaning out my wallet.

o dear...

Hand sanitizer gel (alcohol-based) might be worth a try...try a dabbing - not rubbing - small patch first.

Nail varnish remover could work too, again just try dabbing it. If the chemicals loosen the stain you'll prob still need to use carpet shampoo to clean it afterwards.

Was it ball-point pen, or felt tip?

Big pot of chicken in a garlicky stock with veggies is now bubbling away.

Will be adding dumplings later, or maybe cornbread on the side - hmmm decisions...

And broccoli, food of the gods

We are going over to my sons birthday gathering this afternoon....They like to get together in the yard and grill stuff...and have lots of beer....we are taking the fixin's for Chili Dogs; yesterday I made a spicy chili to spoon over casing franks in nice Maine style buns....got to chop a lot of onions and I bought some blackberry wheat ale to wash em down. We'll have to wait to see what else is there....but I am sure we will find plenty to eat.

I am kind of staring down the pantry today. Hubby is going on Wt. Watchers in the morning so I am thinking he might want to go out in style with a big plate of PASTA. Being the Italian man he is that it will be the major part of his diet he is going to miss the most... so I am betting dinner will focus around that tonight. I have some eggplant I can do up with some sauce... a salad. No dessert. I should probably get the poor guy a dessert. I told him I would do this whole WW thing with him (even though I really only have like five pounds to lose) I figure the support is good for him... I better start doing some research. I just hate dieting... I think it should be illegal.

SKBS - WW is the best there is - from what I understand there's more than enough food on the point system. Feed that man a big plate of pasta and let him have dessert tonight!!!!

Elston it sounds fantastic, as always. Have a wonderful day.

Plans changed as wind is brutal so I'll be doing the sausage inside. Old MN saying "don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes."

I'm making one of the variations of Cyn's chicken lickin' in the crockpot for tonight: Russian dressing, apricot preserves, onion soup mix and chicken breasts. I'll serve it with a side of salad, baked potatoes and carrots. I made another Kahlua ice cream pie for dessert
