So we do what we do best and just plug on in life and live each day to it's fullest. I really hope I have enough energy for the flour tortillas because they are so good. Maybe I will even make some cinnamon tolls.
Bless you for keeping your positive spirit up -- food is about the best way to do it! I hope and pray your mom will be OK, you know there is so much good care these days. My dearest friend in UK is now in her 10th clear year and is on top of the world. I did a Triathlon in her honour this summer with a survivors group and they are the most uplifting people on the planet. Enjoy those tortillas!

Hi everyone. We have a fridge filled with assorted and unrelated leftovers. I have no idea what we're having for dinner. But there's lots of it, so you're all invited.

Ajzjmsmom - keeping you and your mom in my thoughts.

It's an odd combination. We bought lots of chicken this weekend. My wife deboned the breasts and used the bones to make a large pot of soup. My daughter, in her own home, made a large pot of chicken soup and brought a vat of it to us. I made chili so we have some of that leftover. We have some veggies, some grits (never had leftover grits) and other stuff. It should be an interesting meal, whatever it is.

Not sure about those left over grits. We always fed them to the chickens. They loved them though.
