See??? That's what I mean. We should all get busy inside when it's so gray and nasty outside..but do we? I know I don't. I pout! Ha! My energy takes a fast plane right outta here only to return on a nice, clear warmer day! I can't figure that out! Oh well---guess I'll feel lucky we aren't where it's going to be in the minuses tonight! Another batch of fudge done now I have to wait until it gets set and pack it up!

I guess Lacey is getting all that snow they're talking about. Here it's warm and rainy but, yeah, Cyn, a great day to stay in. Making cabbage and hamburger pasties for dinner. Never tried them before. Will let ya'll know how they turn out.

We didn't get the snow like was predicted only the freezing winds. It is now up to 45° when it was supposed to be about 15°. I'm telling ya all there is something strange going to be happening with all of us having unusual weather patterns these past couple of years.

I have been out in the kitchen more than anywhere else today. Now getting ready to make some chex mix. Tonight I have ribs thawing but don't know what else yet. All your foods sound so good too I am seeing a lot of green beans around the tables tonight.

Is the reason I built my office with so many Southern facing windows! I have a huge bay window that takes up almost all of one wall, and floor to ceiling windows flanking that on each side wall! Then I chose a creative, and powerful melon color to paint and aqua see thru curtains with my furniture the same aqua. I have live plants on the side windows, and a huge vase of flowers sitting on the windowseat at the bay window...in purples, yellows, blues and pinks...I get light all day, and the sun follows my windows when it is out....

This is where I stay the most each day, so I wanted it cheerful and bright and friendly. People love this room, even dh who has deserted his recliner in the living room and tends to stay in here, in my way!

Took me 20 years to get my own special space, and even though it is not that big, its the one room everyone comes to.

I'm leaning towards smoked pork chops, cream potatoes and peas or chili....if it keeps on warming up, looks like the chops will win.

Just finished up with breakfast. I took a left over meatloaf pattie and broke it up. Cut up some vine ripe tomato and grated some cheese. Through this in a pan with some eggs and formed a very oooey gooey cheesey ground beef omlette For HUb ha ha me I have a shake and coffee.
Dinner will be something on the grill not sure what I feel like making. Maybe pork ribs? What'ch all think?
I would like a puppy under my tree So cute!!

Afternoon all, tonight for dinner I believe is going to be chicken wings. Tonight is Survivor Finale so it will have to be something easy as we are going to be glued to the tv.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, hubby,me and youngest son went to the Humane Society today to adopt a dog. Found the cutest little border collie mix. Hopefully our landlord won't put a kink in the works. (silly husband is too honest for his own good, LOL) We find out sometime later in the week if we can adopt it. I didn't know there was this whole process. I thought you just went in, picked it out, paid and left. Silly me I guess.

Hope everyone stays warm today.
