Thanks, Denise. Since I don't do clams, I'd never heard of them.

You'll love it, Nomad. You'll never order it out in a restaurant again.

Sounds good, burdell.

DH took out 2 pork chops that would have fed the entire cul-de-sac. My, oh my, was mine good! Just the right amount of brown on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'm not sure if I need a piece of apple pie or not right now..

I'm picking up dinner from local bar and grill. Fish and chips for DH and pesto shrimp pasta for me.

Waddling up to the keyboard I am full up to the brim with roast beef, collard greens, candied yams, and rolls. Would you believe I postponed the chocolate cake. I'm a happy camper at the moment.

We went out-not my choice-I told Mr. L my life was in his capable hands as the roads were solid ice. We went to local Cheers and the Sat crowd will give me nightmares for days!! We drove home thru horrible ice (the long way) and my pj's and bed never looked so good.

I don't know why I came back in here. I'm still to full for my cake and can hardly type as it is... But it was so good. I saw that red beans and rice and that is a winner.....

Glad you got home safe and sound - nice thought but that trip probably wasn't Mr L's best-idea-ever!

Heard lots of 'happy camper' comments today from you lot, just thought I'd tell you about my littlest one (just turned 7) who is the happiest camper all year round but has excelled himself at joyfulness this Christmas. He is such a sweetheart, never grumpy or bad tempered (must be some kind of changeling then!) and has spent the entire Christmas period offering hugs and kisses to all, telling jokes and singing songs - his faves are the Carol of the Bells and Jingle Bell Rock! Just now he is sitting in his new Radio Flyer (well, i got it secondhand but new to him) red wagon, tucked up with cushions, playing on his new (well, his brother's old and re-gifted) Nintendo DS Lite. He loved his food, his presents, he is so naturally happy it is unreal. He is joy itself. Just had to tell you all, coz I love him soooo much.

BTW tonight's chicken pie (leftovers inside) was a hit! Chocolate time now.....

Well tonight was a quicky meal when I finally decided to eat today, I saw a commercial the other day about a kid looking through a window watching guy eat an omlette with avacado on it and since have been craving a turkey, cheese, mushroom and tomato omelette with avacado on top and the DW thought that was a wonderful idea so that's what we ended up with.
Dessert will either be ice cream on bananna bread, (plug your ears nomad) chocolate I got for christmas or maybe more of that chocolate ravioli...
Ok, you can unplug your ears...
Gotta find a way to get some of those lobdudes for around the $4 per pound!
