case- Welcome back. It sounds like you had a very "tasty" vacation.

molochai- Happy Birthday. Have you ever had the Chocolate Cake from Red Lobster. It is incredible. I had a friend that bought a whole cake from RL for her hubby's birthday. The cake weighed something like 10 pounds.

cw- I am on my way for dinner. It sounds fantastic. I once had Jack Daniels bread pudding that was very good.

gym rat- What did they "try" to cook?

DKVA- Sounds like you are eating good and healthy. Good luck with your new move.

Hi all. I went to town this morning. I forgot to take my thyroid medication this morning and I was the ditz from hell. Nothing went right. First I show up at the mall for the book sale the library is having. It starts "tomorrow" not today. Then off to the bookstore, Belk's(got a good pair of Levi's for $10.00), dentist, and then grocery store. I am at the checkout with 3 cantaloupes and the bagger drops a melon. Now I have to go back and get another. On top of that I get home and they forgot to pack my new flat breads. I so hate when other people bag my food. Something always goes wrong.

Then I go to Quizzno's for my Free sub. My store isn't doing it. Ok I look down at my bags in the car and realize I am missing the books and magazines I bought. Back to Belk's. The cashiers were reading them. I left them there because I was trying to be "green" and I didn't take a bag from the bookstore.

I am happy to say I am home safe and sound and I took my medicine. It was just one of those days.

Dinner- Hot dogs for my DH and whole grain pasta with tomatoes and mushrooms for me.

I almost did. It seemed like everyone was driving 10 miles under the speed limit the whole way home. Ok, deep breaths ahh. I'm going to eat lunch. It might also be my lack of food latley. I'm home with my best friend, my hubby, in our sanctuary. All is good now.

You are right about that thread Lacey.

I always take my Thyroid one as soon as I put my feet on the floor but the others slip my mind constantly....

I take 'em first thing so there's no way I can forget.

Plus my Roid doctor says your body can absorb the medicine best if you take it on an empty stomach and don't eat for an hour.

OMG Lisa... That sounds like a normal day for me! HAHAHAHA No offense... but I am laughing just because I can totally RELATE! Go put your feet up and enjoy the fact you are home now...

I on the other hand have not relly left the house- outside of dropping DIVA off to school. It is beautiful out today. I wish the grass wasn't mushy so Chatterbox could go out and play. The driveway is filthy and gross too...can't even chalk on it with all the dirt and grime from salt. Why is it that when winter breaks for a day it is such a tease because it is still so gross out? The poor thing... I thought at least she might be able to ride her bike- so we pulled it out of storage... FLAT TIRE!!! And her helmet is too small Poor kid was so bummed out... At least I can air the house out with open windows and pretend it is spring today
