Local market had something in the freezer called "Shrimp Salsa Verde" on sale for 1/2 price, figured I'd better try it, if it's good I'll have time to stock up before the sale ends Sat

Did I miss the Greek Chicken recipe with the 'cheesy' sauce ?

Beautiful wedding---saw my family and that was the best!! Had our problems with airlines and car rentals but what's new in todays travels!??! I am so tired--slept maybe 9 hours total in 5 days so that is understandable--time difference is a bugger!!! Will read back the pages and post more later.
Hey cyn, glad to see you. I'm sure the wedding was beautiful, nice to spend time with your family!

1/2 pound sausage, package of yellow rice, 3/4 Cup of peas, 1-1/2 tsp. garlic, 1-1/2 Tbsp onion, 14-1/2 oz can diced tomatoes, well drained, and 1 Tbsp. chile peppers.

That was tonight.

For snacks...instead of going for premade Totino's, we thought to make pizzas from scratch, using flour tortillas for the crust.

I did sleep very well--for the first time in a week! My own bed--yes! I managed to bring a CA cold back home with me. Being in an airplane for 5 hours seems to always be a problem with that. The tacos I missed out on Debsi---darn! But I did get a wonderful lunch of sushi---lots of sushi from our old sushi bar there! YUMMY!! My daughter made a wonderful birthday dinner of huge Alaskan crab legs--wonderful!! I ate more being there then I have have ever I think! Probably gained 5 pounds! And yes, the wedding was perfect and beautiful. Now the kids will be coming here in a couple of weeks to live and find jobs and a home. Now it's time for me to get busy cleaning this house throughly for that plus we also have company coming in from Hawaii for 10 days to stay with us for the NASCAR events here in NC. It's back to the grind stone here. I haven't figured out what is for dinner tonight but once I figure it out I will come back and share. Thank you everyone and especially Lasey and RCG for keeping the thread up and going while I was gone. Looks to me like y'all did just fine without me!! Now for me to read all the back pages and see what wonderful dinner ideas and recipes I have missed!!
