For gyros don't you need a commercial rotissarie and a hunk of ground lamb and greek seasonings and a yogurt dill sauce? Or am I mixed up?

Tonight it's a roast, cooked all day in my crockpot. I have to work tomorrow morning so cooking tonight doesn't sound like any fun.

Alton Brown made some involving a loaf pan and a foil wrapped brick to compress the meat. I haven't tried it though.

How are you doing it, Captain Dan?

Hit 80 today, so I am grilling T-steaks, Yukon gold potatoes and roasted asparagus.
dh buddies are coming over tomorrow to help install our bottom cabinets and countertops, so I will be losing my cast iron sink for awhile. So I made a tray of baked Rotelle, Chicken Parm, and Italian bread and tomorrow if I can move around the kitchen, an Italian salad.

Got home to late to prepare the ribs! Plus hubbie decided preserves would work instead of jelly---oh well he's the pro it seems--or so he thinks!! Guess we'll be having some spaghetti tonight. With a double margarita! Man this not smoking for him is driving me nuts! What a pain he is. More then normal!! Yes, I am proud of him but come on....sigh...
