Sounds like you've got a Sabrett Jones

Are "dirty water dogs" specific to the East? I can't say that I've ever really gone looking for them when out of the area.

Now ya got me thinkin, I was gonna do a tortilla espanol but now I may have to make a dog run and get a ripper.

Fry up with some fresh cut onions, and bell peppers, season with pepper and salt. (I do mine on the grill, on aluminum foil)
Add either provolone or mozzarella....melt together.
Add onto "Hoagie" bun (Sub buns here in the south)....and voila......dinner's served.
I am making crispy french fries with it, and some coleslaw on the side.

Could you add mushrooms and extra provolone to mine?

We can get Sabretts here in our part of Florida in Sam's & our local grocery stores, and even have a dirty-dog truck outside our local Home Depot. Man, do they do a lot of business (I guess it's all us displaced NY'ers keeping business strong!).

Uh oh! Seems like before I move from this area I'd better line up a good team of CARE package senders!

Good Question!

Probably either somewhere west of Laramie or somewhere along the east coast--DE? NC? No firm plans other than it's time to go somewhere.

I can imagine the need to escape. From what I understand the taxes & traffic in NY/NJ are a heavy burden to bear.

I wish we would have looked into DE before we left Vegas for FL. It would have been nice to be close to "home". Oh, well. Who knows where we'll ultimately wind up down the road!
