We'll go out for something after her concert.
Well my white gravy came out quite good, I improvised using your recipie and Bobby Flays. His had bacon grease in it, added nice flavor and lots of cholesterol, lol!

I cut up some salt pork and fried it to get the grease to fry my steaks....and even sprinkled the little browned cubes of salt pork over the steak and gravy as a garnish........so I had the bacon flavor too; not healthy but was delicious.

Good morning everyone.

Tonights dinner will be cabbage leaves stuffed with spicy ground meat. Then the the leaves are rolled tightly and fried until they are a bit brown.
Mix 3 cups sour cream with tomatoe paste and add salt, pepper and some herbs. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
Off in the oven they go for about 45 minutes.

We always serve potatoes with the filled cabbages.
