Double funny!! We used to live at the mouth of Lake Erie on an island - the southern end was in Erie. We loved it there on the water.

And, yes, we did eat the fish from Lake Erie; just not many and not often!

I am about 15-20 min south of Lake Ontario... I wouldn't touch those fish with a ten foot pole... I think they have two heads and glow in the dark And I won't even talk about the fish in the canal... I think they are worse than the lake!

I have no ideas for tonight's dinner, maybe a bowl of ice cream or a fruit salad…truthfully I don't have much of an appetite.

We are in the middle of a heat wave up here in the Seattle area and it is way too hot to cook. It is 88F in my kitchen and 94F on the patio...supposed to be as hot as 100F in a couple of hours when we hit the hottest part of the day...

For the day you are having that sounds like the PERFECT dinner for tonight... my only suggestion is to make it a sundae laden in rich chocolate and caramel... maybe some cookie crumbles... whipped cream...

I gotta stop before I get myself in trouble... LOL (running for the ice cream scooper...)

We had baked "fried" grouper with this rice side dish by Lipton that DH picked up (I usually don't do convenience stuff like that - not real healthy), leftover spaghetti squash and steamed broccoli, fresh sliced tomatoes and cuke. I even enjoyed the rice. It had a cheddar sauce and a bunch of ground up veggies in it. Only took like 15 min. altogether.
