Wow...is this fish night or what?? I'm into lobster, shrimp and really mild fishes like haddock. I'm getting into talapia down here. Flouder's ok and I'll eat cod on occasion. I used to like Orange Roughy, but it's getting a bit overfished, I guess.

Anyway, for tonight, since it was rainy out, it was time for comfort food. I had a little more than a half roasted chicken in the fridge, so I threw it in the stock pot, then chunked it up and added chopped onions, celery, carrots and peas. Made some gravy and biscuits...voila! Chicken and biscuits. One of our all time favorites and was it good.

That is exactly how I feel. It has to be cleaned, gutted, and in most cases filleted before I'll go near it and then it definitely has to be cooked.

Well I made my fajitas with the flap meat, sans the tortillas. Didn't have any so there was white rice for the you know who.

I browned the meat with some chili powder then in a separate pot I threw in zucchini, red peppers, green peppers, red onion, snow peas, and something else I forgot now. THEN I mixed it all together. Also had avocado. Boy, am I healthy tonight!

I think we'll do the salmon tomorrow night, at least I will. The you know who doesn't like salmon. I guess he can eat sardines. They're very healthy too.

Okay reporting om take out pizza from Papa Murphy's-nit bad and a heck of a lot better than Domino's. First Papa's $6.99; Domino,s smaller and 14.99; grease - none on Papa's; crust thin and good. Not NY/NJ but not bad.

Nite all. Thinkng burgers as weather will be getting colder-so burgers on the grill!

DH made his famous lasagna over the weekend so that was our dinner for tonight. Just delicious. I'll take some leftovers for lunch tomorrow and make the co-workers drool. They're the type that smell food FIVE miles away and want to know what you're eating.

Husband will have the leftover pork stew with rice.
I had 2 slices of bread with Liverwurst and sliced onion. I think I am going for a 3rd slice, I love this stuff.

Last night my dear partner cooked up fresh "ika" or squid (calamari) in oil and soy sauce and sugar.....Japanese style.....I didnt care for it at all. He didnt cut the body of the squid up and it had no breading......He Loved It.....I fried some fish.....but was pretty much Not In The Mood For Fish after trying his dinner.....Next time he buys calamari....I am cutting it into rings, breading and frying it and serving it with some chunks of zuccini that are similarly fried...and lots of lemon and marinara sauce for dipping!!!!!!

Pot Roast for tonight.....that I had fixed before DP came home from the fish market.
