No, but it's an idea. What kind of salad?

No wonder this thread died quick last year before being dug up again.
Some greens are hearty enough to be boiled in a soup. Kale, spinach, swiss chard, mustard greens, collards, etc. Quite good.

I often throw pasta or brown rice over chopped salad and toss it all together.

Look, dad, I bet you'd think you died and went to heaven if you were lucky enough to eat any of the great, creative, and imaginative meals we ladies can whip up using those bagged veggies!

I don't know about a whole bag of salad, but I HAVE sautéed a few leaves of Romaine in my homemade fried rice when I didn't have any bok choy or Chinese cabbage on hand. Came out good!

Blessings

I did this last week when I made collard greens (bacon grease/bits, garlic, sweet onions, pepper flakes and salt and pepper). Those huge bags always seem to look like there will be plenty but experience says...no. I had two bags of mixed greens getting close to their expiration date so I just threw them in as well...it was dee-lish!

Iceberg lettuce, no I don't use that for anything other than bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches and a few other types of sandwiches.

Hmm, now I'm thinking about dinner.
