I've been known to boil part of a bag of salad when I'm making ramen noodles and just combine the veg with the noodles. It's not bad. Wondering if it was just me.
No wonder this thread died quick last year before being dug up again.

I did this last week when I made collard greens (bacon grease/bits, garlic, sweet onions, pepper flakes and salt and pepper). Those huge bags always seem to look like there will be plenty but experience says...no. I had two bags of mixed greens getting close to their expiration date so I just threw them in as well...it was dee-lish!
Iceberg lettuce, no I don't use that for anything other than bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches and a few other types of sandwiches.
Hmm, now I'm thinking about dinner.
