I want to cook a turkey while I am at work, but I will be at work for 8-9 hours and cant get back home to turn the oven off. I have a 23 lb. bird. It will be stuffed

Is there any way I could slow cook it at 275 or 300 or something for 8, 9, 10 hours? If so, what temp should I use?

Check at butterball's website and see if they address this issue.
They have all kinds of great tips.

Why not cook it night before and reheat? I wouldn't stuff it tho-maybe do stuffing on the side.

That is what I would do. Cooking turkey low and slow will result in dry breast/white meat.

I have cooked a small turkey in the slow cooker and it came out great and moist. I didn't know there was a crockpot large enough to cook a 23 lb. turkey!!! I think I would rather bake it ahead of time.

My son bought me a huge slow cooker/roaster that will accommodate a 23lb turkey. That sucker is HUGE! It works great and the only drawback to it is the storage of the appliance. But, since my son gave it to me; I found a special place.
