I have only eaten 6 of the foods listed. My favorite would be spaghetti squash which I love to eat with spaghetti sauce/marinara. I just wish it wasn't so expensive..

Not really surprising. People should be eating foods with a lot of deep and vibrant color. No only is that indicative of vitamin content, but also of phytonutrients. Americans definitely lack color in the their diet which typically includes lots of white potatoes, pasta, meat, white bread, etc. I strive for deep color in the produce section.

We like Spaghetti squash as well and I have had star fruit, but don't see the purpose of eating it, there is almost nothing to it and talk about expensive!!!! oh and I love Brazil nuts. I could eat them all day.

I probably have eaten over half of them. Some are 'exotic' and I probably won't be able to find them locally. Oh well!

To expand my culinary experience, I have decided to try 1 new fruit or vegetable a week. I just have to remember to do it when I go to market

The sea buckthorn is something I'd never heard of. I've eaten most of the others, too, except kohlrabi and kelp, but due to expense, a lot of them aren't on the regular rotation. For example, the romescu broccoli is 2x-3x the price of regular broccoli but not 2-3x the nutrient value, and they taste almost the same.
