Fisher Original Fair Scone & Shortcake Mix, 72-Ounce Box: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

Fisher Fair Scones - WOW!!!

They literally take less than five minutes to make - one bowl, one spoon, one measuring cup and a clean place to knead them out (knead only 5-6 times) and cut into crescents. I had them on the pan and in the oven in under five minutes. It was amazing!

And they are absolutely delicious. I ordered some clotted cream from Amazon that should be getting here today as well, so that should be a nice little treat with a cup of tea this afternoon!

When I rolled them out, I rolled them in whole wheat flour and sprinkled them with a bit of raw sugar before baking (they take 12 minutes to bake). EVEN BETTER!

Just had to share my successful little story.

Is the clotted cream shelf stable or does it require refrigeration?

It ships in a cold pack and it seems fine when it gets here, but it needs to be refrigerated after opening, I believe.

I've never tried to make scones but you make it sound so easy. I think I'll order some too. Thanks for sharing.
