An ice cold beer, right out of the cooler, after mowing the lawn and doing yard work for three hours.

I carefully place my beer in a cooler, with ice, before I start the yard work, this is my treat..I think about how good it will taste when I am done. I take no breaks, just keep that mower going, then the edger...check the flower beds, do some trimming..done. A quick shower...

And there is my ice cold beer, dripping with cold water. Tonight I had a special one from a micro brewery in Canada, Grasshpper Ale.

My second best is a big fat turkey sandwich, the day after Thanksgiving. Sliced turkey, fresh cracked pepper, cheddar cheese, mayo, cranberry sauce, lettuce, tomato...on thick bakery bread..

I could not rep you, but you made me want a beer and sammich!

I have to say, I have never found beer refreshing. Or any alcohol for that matter...except for mojitos, for some reason. Which I like never have.

But that sammich...that post Thanksgiving goodness...holy cannoli!!!!!

Fresh caught trout cast iron skillet fried in bacon grease lightly coated with corn meal while watching the sun rise over the Sierras in my favorite camping spot. Also with a steaming cup of camp coffee.

Bloody mary at morning brunch after a night of drinking, gambling and vigorous coitus. What happens in Vegas.......
