Everyone is back to normal and were craving for pancakes with apple sauce and cinnamon..I stopped counting after making 15 pancakes Served with jasmine green tea .
Haha - weird food left over from our Superbowl party - sausage balls and King cake!
Kathryn... Never heard of King cake, so I looked it up... it looks wonderful & I love the varying country's varieties, especially the French with apples & almond filling. Yum! The Mardi Gras ones look so vibrant, like a party in a slice. Did you put a little baby trinket in it? I love it as a tradition... I'm going to have to make one of my own, especially since I'm at my mum's for a few weeks & she's got a sweet tooth to beat all others! If she doesn't have a slice of some sweetness with evening tea, she believes the world is coming to an end.
My 2am b'kfast (I'm so off schedule, it's nuts) was a bit unorthodox... my once/yr grilled cheese sandwich (I'm allergic, so I usually shun dairy), toasted in a cast iron pan with butter, thick Scali & a hunk of Dubliner cheese... & a small, black coffee. I do hear a double espresso calling my name soon, however.

A bowl of oatmeal with sugar & cinnamon & a bit of non-fat milk and a cup of dark chocolate almond milk.
