Currently have a huge pot of beef barley soup cooking on the stove and the house smells divine. May add plate of cheese and crackers with it, but it already has everything in it. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

petite sirloins-interesting, and you are in arizona..

these are usually top butt sirloins cut in smaller serving sizes..

thats what we call them up here too

burgers with griddled onions & all the fixings, tomato wedges with herbs & olive oil as a side, last of the season. Went to a friend's open house this afternoon and had enough desserts for a week there.

Just a quick update - the soup was the perfect choice for a bleary day - cold, gray, windy, and just blah....definitely enough leftovers for a couple of days!!!
