Subway! A new one opened and husband and I got a great deal on two foot longs - the "grand opening" is tomorrow but they're open now - so why the heck not? It's only a mile away, tops! I've had craving for one for awhile, and darned if a coupon just came in the mail. Or the newspaper. Or wherever coupon fairies leave such things. I don't know - I just eat the rewards.

Salad and cantaloupe. I'm a cook at a junior/sr. high school. It was the first day back for the teachers (students start next week) and we served a buffet of oriental chicken, rice, salads, desserts and fruit...line was long, teachers double plated, came back for seconds (it was like a herd of locusts) and we RAN OUT OF FOOD! Did they miss our cooking THAT MUCH?

Plenty of salad and cantaloupe left.
