After eating my way through Costco this morning, I picked up one of their shrimp cocktail platters and probably will eat the entire pound of shrimp. It is delicious. Mexican Coke to drink.

Leftover beef stroganoff served over rice. Hot tea (don't know which flavor yet) with a squeeze of lemon and honey.

I started cooking too late for lunch but, for an early dinner, I'm having pinto beans cooked with lots of chopped onions and chopped ham, seasoned to taste. The beans were soaked overnight. This will be served with a side of hot buttered yellow Texas cornbread and iced tea on this very cold west Texas day.

The great smell of cooking beans is now drifting back to my computer. I'm making myself hungry.
