Enjoy your family. We always invite the "familyless" from work to our home, but this year it seems it will be small, about 10 people.

Used to have anywhere from 13 to 35. This year there will be four. Our kids and g-kids are in NJ and we're in MN. Just be husband's sister and hubby. Last year-we were alone and ate out-just wasn't the same. It's the one big meal I really enjoy making. Enjoy your holiday.

Well my parents are in Florida, one sister in Vegas and a brother in West VA so its not going to be more than 8 people total this year. All three of my sons have jobs now and the only thing that could throw a monkee wrench in it is if they end up working.....Fingers Crossed!

I so envy you.It sounds like alot of work but yet fun/friendship as well.I miss that.In yrs past i cooked a bird with all the trimmings for just me & my cats. The most i have been with at thanksgiving ( family/friends ) was approx 15.As the yrs go on close friends & family pass on & it just gets tougher each time.Thats one reason i was in a 5 yr rut.My bro in law told me if i dont show up hes going to personally drive 7 miles to my home & drag me out of the house. So its best i just go plus i hope the watch the dallas cowboys lose.Happy holidays everyone & lets not forget our family & friends who have moved on & dont forget the egg nog.

Rather than spending the holidays alone there are churches that hold family style dinners-mainly for people who are alone and companionship is important at this time of year. Go to your sister's and enjoy (tho I picked the Cowboys in the football pool)!
