I do big grocery shopping sometime the first week of the month and then usually go once a week to pick up some things we have run out of.

We go twice a week. Once on either Sat or Sun and then once in the middle of the week (Wednesday).

I go to town every 4-6 days.

I stop every time, but this last trip I spent $12, and much of that was baking soda, TP, etc.

Twice a week for me (most of the time) and I hate every minute of it. One time is for my main grocery shopping which I do online and then only have to drive up to the store and get them. The second time I will actually go to the grocery store to pick out meat (steaks especially) and produce.

Once a week is enough for me! Between the stairs, the unloading, whatever--it's like a 1/2 day hike.

<---- That's because I want to be a CD friend with you and you don't allow it.....

These days I go maybe once a week. Things are tighter since we moved to a new home. It's tough trying to have a great time grocery shopping when the local markets are being so greedy now. I try....

I use a bike and sometimes the bus to go grocery shopping, so am limited as to what I can carry (im a widower so cooking just for one). This means more than once a week. I tend to shop more frequent for things like salad fixins' ( parsley, cilantro, tomatos, etc) and less frequently for some things more in bulk (like celery and carrots and a box of cheerios or oatmeal) . Bulk stuff is usually via bus. Smaller items are on the bike.

I also have certain stores where I get certain things. Aldi for some things, Walmart for others, certain bakeries and delis for bread and baked goods, etc....in a pinch I use nearby indian markets or Drug Mart (an Ohio chain that has a small grocery/deli section) for things I forgot, but have to have but dont want to ride the bike to Kroger or Walmart.

Costco once a month for most things, the actual grocery store maybe every two weeks for small items not available at Costco and the farmer's market weekly in summer for produce.

I know people who only go once a week, or even once a month, but I can't imagine planning that far ahead. I do work most days and am single, and tend to stop at the grocery store/deli pretty much depending what I feel like eating that day.
Yup!! My son is at college, my BF is an hour away, and I work and hit the gym after, so it's 9pm or after when I get home. I never plan meals ahead - I don't have time to do that!
