I eat on the couch and Hubby eats dinner in his recliner. We never eat our meals at the table because we like to watch TV as well. Only time we eat at the dining room table is when we have company. I grew up with a TV in our kitchen so it was always on when we ate dinner. My dad liked to eat at watch the news. If I am watching a movie I like to have a crunch snack like chips, nuts or pretzels.

I usually eat a meal while the tv is on. Don't do too much snacking, so nothing in particular to watch tv with. In fact, I will often read after dinner, till bedtime.

I might find something to nibble on. Occasionally I'll get put the popcorn popper on the stove (don't do microwave popcorn!!) then add some real butter. Every now and then some dry cereal.

Most often, a handful of tortilla chips dipped in tabasco-spiked refried beans.

We watch while eating dinner, too, but we're intermittent fasting, so no food from 5pm to 11am. Any tv watching during that time is calorie free.

Rarely do I eat on the couch...... usually if I snack, I put what I want to eat in a bowl, then take the bowl with me rather than grabbing chips out of a bag. When the bowl is empty, I'm done eating! If I have the bag, I tend to eat more chips.

I have a full meat set up when I initially sit down to watch my shows

Yesterday, I wasn't able to make my braised short ribs sandwich due to having to evcuate the commissary because of a gas leak, so I ended up going to Wendy's instead.

But this past week, I've had Indian food, oxtails and some sides, and Mexican.

We typically watch Netflix after dinner so we eat dessert. Cookies, brownies, ice cream, candy etc.

If we're watching Netflix during the day, for a family movie on the weekend, that's when we eat popcorn. Not microwave, must be homemade in the stir-crazy with butter, salt, and some family members like white cheddar flavoring.
