I also like sour cream glazed or the coffee roll which is like a cinnamon roll donut. I like Dunkin Donuts or this local grocery stores has really good sour cream donuts in the bakery area.
Though they were never my favorite growing up we used to go to the Cider Mill for hot cider donuts. They were so greasy and you had to eat them when hot otherwise they turn hard as a rock.

My mom used to this.
We hated it at the time, wanted the real store donuts.....
But nw
I would kill for those home made gems from mom.

I like Boston Cream. But I'm trying to stay away from donuts.

Glazed and glazed only. I prefer glazed doughnuts to be a day old to where the glazing has solidified as opposed to being more sticky and gooey.

Only glazed doughnuts and only strong black coffee for me. It's like the choices you have at a diner in a faceless industrial section of a small town in the rust belt.

I like ones with filling, custard or lemon the most.
But in the end....my favorite donut is whatever is in my mouth!

My favorites are the powdered sugar and the cinnamon ... but my local Dunkin' Donuts drive-through stopped carrying them! I guess I was one of the few who liked such plain-jane donuts.

I try to keep donuts out of the house ... I simply cannot eat them in moderation.

Custard filled.

Not cream filled. Yuck. There's nothing more disappointing than mistaking a cream filled donut for a custard filled donut.

Lemon custard is good, too.

If they are out of the apple fritters and the raspberry filled, then I'll take a couple glazed or some tasty doughnut holes. And if I don't get my wife a cream filled, I'd better not go home! lol
