I love Blueberry Cake. Hubs likes the Key Lime from Krispy Kreme.

Well last night I went out and tried a sour cream glazed donut from DD.

I think Bulldogdad or someone here mentioned it. It was fabulous!

Chocolate frosted with sprinkles! I'll also take plain, glazed, chocolate, or blueberry. No filled donuts for me though.

Isn't that funny how that works. Things that we don't like, later become part of those warm fuzzy memories and we remember them in a different way. I agree - making the donuts this way... they really don't taste the best. But because they are attached to family memories, they are among our favorites.

I prefer yeast donuts to cake donuts, if I'm going to eat a cake donut though I always take cream, custard, or jelly filled. My favorite donut is Krispy Kreme's Chocolate Iced Glazed.

Overheard at the donut store the other day..
"School lets out early today, should I make more donuts, anticipating parents will bring in kids for donuts, or not?".

Must be interesting to try to run a business and predict behavior of others....

Methinks he was merely being facetious, but he has a point. A doughnut isn't like a slice of cake, pie, pizza.

Can you imagine open a box of donuts and finding a half doughnut?

People don't ask for someone's leftovers—they want the whole thing.

Agree to split it with someone or save the rest for later—seems rational to me.
